This part of Hamilton, east of Kenilworth, lies below the Escarpment and straddles Red Hill Creek which for many years was pure parkland and is now home to the Red Hill Expressway, which connects the QEW to the Lincoln Alexander Expressway to the 403.

A stroll along a beautiful boutique street, the discount options of many big box stores or window shopping in a all the boutique shops located in the area. Hamilton is loaded with fashionable and friendly small businesses. The area is surrounded by Big Box Shopping Centres and a Mall which include The Centre on Barton in the west, Queenston and Nash Rd and Eastgate Mall along the Centennial Parkway. Recreation in this area is bisected by Red Hill Creek, which for many years was pristine parkland, with a number of parks alongside (Rosedale, King’s Forest, Laurier, and Hillcrest) though now Red Creek has become an expressway route.

Along the waterfront is Globe Park with its Museum of Science and Technology, and of course the Hamilton Beach along the shores of Lake Ontario which boasts fun and excitement the whole family can enjoy from Confederaton Park, Adventure Village, Hutches and Baranga’s on the Beach as well as Wild Water Works.
